Experimenting

what lies beneath the grains of sand as

shallow water laps my feet,
my soul stretches,
grasping at the edges... of infinity.
Does time s t r e t c h like a rubber band,
snapping back unexpectedly
or simply
drift...... away

like flotsam...heedless of its passing

the days shorten as I continue
to search
and search
my soul..
and
time.
